Cleveland

One Walnut (216) 575-1111; 1 Walnut Avenue; Cleveland, Ohio

Amenities: One Walnut has honed to perfection the hospitable nature of their special events so much so, they're termed "Hospitality" events. Solo guests are specially pampered. At a recent event, one solo diner, known for a love of good wine, will be seated at a table which will include wine vendors. Another, an unabashed "foodie," will be seated with representatives from the media.

The "solo diner-friendly" flavor of special events apparently has cast a spell beyond special occasions. Solo diners walk-ins and concierge-directed enjoy raised banquette seating, as well as a seat at the bar (12 seats).
